Hyster dealer award for parts performance

Reachstacker.jpgSouthern African Hyster dealer Barloworld Handling’s commitment to achieving high levels of after-sales backup has been recognised by Hyster with an award for parts performance. The award, for third best performance out of some 150 dealers in Hyster’s Europe/Africa/Middle East region during 2012, was made at a Hyster aftermarket conference in Dubai in June 2013.

Hyster commercial aftermarket manager Paul Wells said: “Barloworld Handling achieved great success in 2012, with parts purchases from Hyster during 2012 up by 30% on 2011, representing some of the strongest growth in our entire dealer network. It also resulted in a Top 3 finish in the Hyster Partner Programme competition, which measures dealer performance against a combination of year-on-year growth, performance against target and key product purchasing loyalty.

“For Barloworld to have had such a highly successful year speaks volumes about the commitment and focus of their parts operation, and about their willingness to work in close partnership with Hyster. I am confident that we can build on this and take both Barloworld and Hyster’s parts business to the next level in 2013.”

The award was received by Barloworld Handling parts general manager Martin Jacobs, who said: “The growth in our parts business illustrates our commitment to provide customers with fast, efficient, responsive backup that will maximise their productivity and minimise downtime. It also reflects our ongoing investment in resources and training to enhance customers’ experience and deliver excellent service.”

Barloworld Handling stocks well over 10 000 parts line items, with 97% off-the-shelf availability and overnight delivery to the majority of SA destinations.
